General Description

The Generic Missile-Platform Disconnect Box is an inline switching, routing and safety
control unit intended for integration laboratories, simulators, software verification
environments, SIL/HIL setups, and missile/pod test benches. Installed in-line between
platform umbilical ports and the missile/pod/UUT, it allows transparent signal routing with
programmable disconnection groups, ignition-line logic, external voltage/shunt insertion
and relay-based switching.

  • Full inline pass-through under normal conditions.
  • 8 programmable ignition/power lines (typically release/ignition/squib).
  • Each ignition line may disconnect assigned groups (1–8).
  • Adjustable delay per ignition line (0–10 s typical).
  •  Clear status display on integrated HMI.
  • External series voltage insertion (8 lines) via 2.0 mm banana sockets.
  • External shunt insertion (8 lines) via 2.0 mm banana sockets.
  • Jumpers allow instant bypass to restore normal inline connectivity.
  • Ethernet A/B switching: 16 relays → 8 channels.
  • RS-170 A/B switching: 2 video channels.
  • 8 ACS current sensors for monitoring.
